When I watch the Bob Newhart Show from the 70s, it makes me feel a certain way, especially the opening credits where he’s walking through Chicago. It reminds me of my childhood, visiting where my dad worked, called the Telecommunications building. It also validates my feeling that the 70s were very brown. I used to not like that. Now I find it overwhelmingly endearing.
