Growing up we referred to the high achieving, presumably suck-up kids as “browners”, short for “brown nosers” I assume. I was one of them. It never occurred to me that the implication was that you have poo on your nose from shoving it up asses. Regardless, I relived my browner youth making this dish when I skipped ahead in class and made it before the lesson BECAUSE I AM SO SMRT
