As you move through life, you pick up many phrases and idioms, and when you particularly like them you may use and repeat often and for the rest of your life. And sometimes they become a philosophy; a guiding principle. My coworkers Lou and Tony gave me a favorite expression of their dad’s: “Sure, why not?” … except he said it in a deep Italian-Canadian accent.
