Cutting the perfect curve is the brass ring of glass work. I actually had to look up a metaphor for a near impossible ultimate goal and I’m not sure that’s even the one. Regardless, I cut my first excellent, if not perfect, freehand curve on this plate and it will always be a cherished memory and also I made some pretty keen color choices on the lavender opaque and wispy purple transparent here. Wow, this description is so self-aggrandizing. Sometimes one deserves aggrandizing, doesn’t one?
