Back in the 80s we wore a lot of mesh. It was a total fashion thing. I remember when I won the chance to be in a Platinum Blonde video (and subsequently miss my grade 8 graduation), I went to buy an outfit because I had to wear all white, and I picked an AWESOME crop sweatshirt mesh number but then I didn’t have enough money to buy it and I am still bitter.
