Thickness is required (no winging this one). The slot needs to hug your glass: snug enough to stand tall, not so loose it leans. For the best fit, measure the thickest spot where the piece will sit with calipers and enter it as a Custom thickness (we add 1mm of wiggle room automatically). No calipers? Pick the preset closest to how many layers you fused. The presets already bake in that 1mm tolerance.
