The inspiration from my childhood combines mid- and late-20th century aesthetics with the colors that I love the most. Growing up in the 70s and 80s meant heavy influence from the 50s and 60s in addition to what was contemporary at the time.
Very nice little dish, the bottom was slightly convex, so I put four round stickers on the bottom one on each corner and that took care of the problem.

Where to start? This is such a brilliant invention! It sure beats the heck out of a zillion fire bricks and dams to help retain the shape of your work. I am into layering pieces, so this is absolutely perfect for me and the height is the maximum I will need...for now, lol! Highly recommend Smatter Studios, she does amazing work and knows her stuff!
