Glass
Glass Finish: Glossy
I lived in Los Angeles for 12 years and I absolutely loved it. But even after experiencing many with no ill effects, I never got over my fear of earthquakes. Maybe I’m processing that fear by filling the “cracks” in this plate with bright orange and blue. I dunno. Too deep? Yeah. It’s just a plate.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
- Food safe unless otherwise noted.
- Dishwasher and microwave use not recommended.
- Colors may appear slightly differently in digital photos than on the physical piece.
