It's like a juicy grapefruit with a teal twist!

This is a mid-sized (8" diameter, 2" deep) glossy glass bowl that can act as a display item for potpourri, decorative fruit or balls, or as a standalone piece of decor. The "ball surface" shape means that it's fully round on the bottom so does not sit firmly, and thus not recommended to serve a heaping bowl of hot soup!

White opaque glass is topped with a pink champagne clear glass in a textured citrus slice design, with a pop of turquoise segment, in a retro-contemporary graphic design with a high gloss finish.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
