If I took all of the dishes I have made and stacked them up, I’d have a really tall stack that would likely fall over and many of them would break. So I won’t do that. What I WILL do is wrap them in cozy padded envelopes and keep them safe and snuggly in inventory bins in the garage, waiting for the day they can grace a new home, LIKE YOURS.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.

  • Colors may appear slightly differently in digital photos than on the physical piece.
