This is a 6x6" handmade one of a kind glass art piece in mid-century modern atomic design style with an original graphic, mounted on a cradled wood canvas (9" x 9") with painted background, with hanging hardware, meant to hang on a wall.
White opaque glass is complimented by grey and green glass components, with bright yellow on the wood backing.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
