This is a mid-size (8.5" x 8.5") square glass dish or plate that reads very neutral but has a wee pop of color in the light purple transparent glass and mint green and mauve circles on the white snake-skin like design. Imagine it holding a candle or fruit or whatever little deco pieces you have lying round! It would also look amazeballs displayed in a window with the light coming through!
White opaque glass is complimented by light purple transparent glass and mint green and mauve dots, in an organic snake or alligator skin-like graphic mid-mod design.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
