My husband thinks I am bananas, or that something important is missing from my life, in that I have never watched an episode of the Dick Van Dyke show. I know I should, I mean for the style alone. But something about seeing too many episodes of Leave it to Beaver at lunchtime when I was a kid because it was the only thing on makes me not want to watch any black and white family sitcoms. I suppose I am, in fact, bananas.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.

- Colors may appear slightly differently in digital photos than on the physical piece.
