This is a medium-large matte finish glass dish or plate that can be used for serving appetizers or other food, can hold decor items or a candle, or stand on its own as a contemporary/mod decorative piece.

White opaque glass is covered with a champagne pink transparent glass which continues to the transparent center of the piece. Light copper powder highlights the middle stripe, with squared edges and a matte finish in a graphic one-of-a-kind design.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
