14 in x 11 in
Glass, Wood, Watercolor, Paper Board, and Aluminum
Glass Finish: Glossy
I have a phobia of swimming in natural bodies of water where the things that live in it might touch me. But I love to LOOK at fish in water. Especially koi. They seem so common, like goldfish, and yet so exotic at the same time. And they kiss the surface, which is totes adorbs.
Blue and green textured glass piece mounted over original watercolor painting on cradled wood canvas.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
- Food safe unless otherwise noted.
- Dishwasher and microwave use not recommended.
- Colors may appear slightly differently in digital photos than on the physical piece.
