One day someone will look at me the way I look at this donut made of shards of blue, purple and clear glass. I gotta stop looking at this thing like that, my husband is getting suspicious. Also I’m not saying that said husband doesn’t look at me in a good way, just more like an actual donut maybe. Hey, that ain’t nothin’.

About the process:
Handmade kiln-formed glass is an art and science that produces truly one of a kind pieces. Sheet glass, ground glass, powdered glass, metals, paints and enamels are formed together using myriad techniques and then fired up to 1500f for many hours -- often multiple times -- to achieve the beautiful, sometimes geometric and sometimes organic forms that are never *quite* perfect. Bubbles, soft lines, and uneven edges are often natural features of kiln-formed glass.
